Upgrading old equipment and boosting line performance have become key steps for many companies to cut costs, raise efficiency, and stay competitive.On June 11, 2026,the upgrade project for multiple extrusion presses undertaken byFoshan Nanhai Hengda Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd.for Guangdong Hongxinghua Aluminum Co., Ltd. saw the first two units successfully delivered to site, and they have now entered the full phase of disassembly, retrofitting, and installation.
This is a turnkey project, covering75MNand several otherhorizontal aluminum extrusion presses of different tonnages,to be installedat the production base in Nanxiong, Guangdong. To address the old units' high energy use, poor control compatibility, and outdated process setup, Hengda Machinery tailored a full upgrade package:all traditional hydraulic main pump motors were upgraded to servo drive systems, while hydraulic lines and flow distribution were optimized to significantly cut overall energy consumption, aligning with the industry's "dual carbon" green goals. Outdated control systems were replaced with more compatible and stable electric control systems for precise operation. In addition, we adjusted the container size, revamped the butt shear structure, and reorganized/replaced plate heat exchangers based on the customer's production needs, improving accuracy, throughput, and stability across the board.
From site survey, solution design, disassembly, and long-haul transport, to in-plant retrofitting, on-site lifting, installation, commissioning, and technical handover, Hengda Machinery provides full closed-loop service.
